So many things have been written about the crepuscular dimension of Huston’s 1961 movie, The Misfits, gathering three almost dying big stars such as old Clark Gable, desperate Marilyn Monroe and swollen Montgomerry Clift. But if you’re still looking for a never seen before clue, just have a look at Marilyn’s hair : it has never been so long, so casual, almost tarty, and so giving away about her emotional condition. Remember that scene where we can catch sight of famous Marilyn’s usual and shortest hairdos through a closet she keeps closing while Guido keeps opening it.
