Considered one of the top advertising photographers, Sandro Miller likes to say that he is a self-taught artist. Asking his old friend, actor John Malkovich, to reinterpret famous models or pics, such as the Young Man in Curlers Diane Arbus shot in 1966, he opens up the big photography anthology he might have learnt from all along. Let's see: some viewers first can't tell it's Malkovich but do recognize Arbus's picture while those who can tell it's Malkovich, can't tell it's Arbus. An amusing experiment going along the exhibition entitled "Malkovich, Malkovich" in Montmajour Abbey, in Arles Photography Festival, France, till September 20, in which the actor acts also as Einstein, Guevara, Lennon and many more.
