On February 24, 2017, young Chinese Beijing-based photographer Ren Hang committed suicide. He was 29. His work advocates some Guy Bourdin-like soft porn fashion, showing naked bodies and flesh of young girls and boys, melting into one another, twisting around manicured fingers, butterflies and red lips. Despair came across his images along with energy and a whimsical fantasy. But pain kept him away from breathing when shootings stopped. Let him R.I.P.
