Guillaume Bression and Carlos Ayesta are two young Paris-based photographers who have been working on the Fukushima exclusion zone for five years in some Christian Boltanski’s way. They show us a world that has been abandoned and imagine how the people could go back to their lives while facing nuclear radiation. They shoot nights and landscapes, cover cars, houses and roads to stage creepers and weeds. Their No Go Zone portfolio tries to epitomize a nature that would erase the traces of man…Disturbingly stunning.
