When it started, hip hop and especially gangsta rap used to be frontal, trash, sexually violent, ghetto-like oriented and male supremacist. Since then, the tribe has turned into some mainstream trendy galaxy where female singers have twisted the codes, reigned and taken over. Today, any white quiet teenager can wear some Supreme or Trasher t-shirt whereas in the 90s, it was not even an option. Today, many luxury brands mix their codes with street and hip hop symbols to draw younger customers. In other words, as a trend hip hop is done, let's find the new black in town...
