n°36/ Why do luxury brands like cartoon movies ads?

Did you happen to see the cartoon-movie French designers Kuntzel&Deygas created to promote La Petite Robe Noire by Guerlain in 2012? Rouge Pur Couture by Saint Laurent ? Or The Little Groom by Vuitton? If not, ust go and watch them now!
They are amazing creative work that bring up that luxury and cartoon are  a unexpected good match. Basically, cartoon movies allow stylization, metamorphosis and worldwide wonderful journeys. The characters may be one day in Rome and the next in New York without any transportation or set design outrageous costs. Cartoon movies are perfect to tell fairy tales and make you believe that life is always wonderful. And last but not least, technically, they emphasize a major colour stress. Black for Guerlain, reds and pinks for Saint Laurent or gold for Vuitton. A major chromatic tone the future buyer won't escape. What's next? Dior by Disney?
