A popular model in Japan, Miss Hiroko meets, in 1957, in Tokyo, the fashion designer Pierre Cardin who immediately falls in love with her and asks her to follow him in France, what she would do in 1960. She soon becomes a successful model in Paris, Pierre Cardin's muse and the first Japanese women to work for a French brand. In 1967, she puts an end to her career and marries the president of the Pierre Cardin group, Henry Berghauer who would later be at the head of Hanae Mori and Hervé Leger. In 1970, clad in Hanae Mori outfits, she appears in François Truffaut's Domicile Conjugal, as Antoine Doinel's mistress. A few years later, married to Jean-Claude Cathalan, she has to face the kidnapping of her baby daughter that would be given back to her parents in exchange of a huge amount of money.
