n°199/ Bob Dylan

December 2016

by Nathalie Azoulai

“You were born with a snake in both of your fists while a hurricane was blowing”, says a song of his, Jokerman. Bob Dylan was recently awarded the Nobel Prize in literature and some people claimed against it. I guess Steve Jobs would have been a happy man because Dylan was his hero. Both countercultural and traditional, wild and intellectual, melancholic and rebel and much more. Through film, pictures, images, posters and of course a lot of music Tel Aviv Beit Hatfutsot Museum’s exhibition shows the complex springing figure that Bob Dylan still is. Jump for it. Till December, 22.
