When movies were called motion pictures and when the studios had full power over the Hollywood stars, they would tag white labels on their costumes. On those labels, one could see that the name of the biggest stars, only written with pencil, could be replaced anytime while the studio’s name was embroidered. Stars as darling kids going to summer camps with their name tagged on their linings…
