Seven dark rooms in the London National Gallery showcase six paintings by mythic Italian painter, Caravaggio, and prove his major influence on 17th century Italian and European painters. Conceived before the Brexit blow, the exhibition enlightens an artistic circulation that will probably never stop but there’s a sudden melancholy while going around those dark circles as if, somehow, light suddenly blacked out.
