Richard, Alain (1926)

The French designer opened his design studio in 1952, working alongside his wife. He imagined industrial yet superbly crafted furniture and interiors enhancing smooth lines and innovative materials like his iconic chair “Coquille” made of Altuglas. More recently, he turned to museum and institutional spaces’ and designed  for the Musée Guimet and the Banque de France
