Lanvin by Alber Elbaz (1961)

After designing for Geoffrey Beene, Guy Laroche and Yves Saint Laurent, the Casablanca-born Israeli designer is named creative director of Lanvin, in 2001. He has since successfully mingled the house's flamboyant heritage with his own poetic and sensual touch. His garments are simple in their form yet colourful and adorn feminine details like his signature ribbons and asymmetrical shoulders.
