Tom Ford (1961)

After working at Perry Ellis, the American designer joined Gucci in 1990 and gained international fame when saving the house from bankruptcy with his glamorous, overtly sexy and disco-inspired designs. From 2000 to 2004, he also supervised Yves Saint Laurent's creations where his “porno chic” touch was not assumed. In 2005, he launched his own men and womenswear lines.
